The Flagler Auditorium Governing Board Inc. is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. It is a member of the Florida Association of Local Arts Agencies (FALAA) and has been designated by the State of Florida as the local agency in Flagler County for the receipt and distribution of revenue from the specialty vehicle license plate "Florida State of the Arts" (Florida Statute 320.08058). In addition, they may designate portions of donations and other funds to support educational, artistic and cultural projects within Flagler County.
Arts Education and Community Arts Grants
The Flagler Auditorium Governing Board gives grants to further arts education and community arts groups, both inside and outside of the school system, on a quarterly basis (January, April, July, and October). All forms of art are considered, not just the performing arts.
